Researching a Science Topic - Guidelines
FINDING THE WHAT (DEFINITION), HOW (STEPS, METHODS), AND WHY (REASONS) OF A SCIENCE PROJECTS
  • keep a record of all resources that you use for your Works Cited page; copy and paste database citations onto a doc, or create the citation if using a website
  • Important: If you read/use any posted science experiments for information,  you must cite it!
  • look up, take notes, and develop an understanding of the concepts related to your topic (see keywords listed below); use database articles for this process
  • having a background knowledge of the main concepts will help you understand the HOW (steps or directions need to cause a reaction) and WHY (reasons) of your results
